Director Juame Collet-Sera (Unknown) will direct the movie that will star Garret Hedlund (Tron Legacy) as Kaneda off of the script written by 5 different screenwriters (yeah that's a good sign) that moves the action from Neo Tokyo to Neo Manhattan (WHICH DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE). The film is budgeted at $90 million (WHY) and is targeted for a summer 2013 release.
